Gabriela Pataro is a pistol of a lady.  We met the other night at her café, Café Lago, on Garland Road.  She kind of saved my tail by agreeing to meet me at the last minute...

Celebrating her restaurant's eighth year, chef-owner Gabriela "Gaby" Pataro is no stranger to food.

Situated on the first floor of a mixed-use development along the south side of White Rock Lake, Café Lago is known for its warm, comfortable atmosphere and diverse menu.
